Nanotherapeutics

Nanoparticle Delivery Vehicle for Sub-Cellular Targeting

Nanotherapeutics present new opportunities for improving drug efficacy, reducing toxicity, and improving bio-distribution of different pharmaceutical compounds. However, delivery of therapeutics to specific subsets of cells remains a significant challenge for diseases ranging from cancer to addiction. This is especially true for delivery to the brain where multiple barriers and subset of specialized cells are present.

We are focused on creating the next generation of smart, responsive nano-therapeutics that are able to more intelligently interact with specific cells and specifically control sub-cellular targeting.
